We are pleased to offer five-week programs for students who want to learn to play a musical instrument or to continue to play music during the summer.
We offer a variety of music programs:
All students must be available for the entire five-week program and will perform in an evening concert at South High School during the last week of the program. Consult our brochure via the link above for more information and for our application.

We offer a variety of music programs:
- Beginner “Get Started”
- for students entering grades 4-9 with no prior experience on a band or orchestra instrument
- meets Monday-Friday from 8:30-9:30am
- Intermediate “Make Music” (Band or Orchestra)
- for students entering grades 4-9 with at least one year of playing experience
- meets Monday-Friday from 9:30-10:30am
- Jazz Band
- for students in grades 6 - 12 (or by audition) who play flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, piano, electric guitar, bass/tuba, and drum set
- meets Monday-Thursday only, from 12:30-2:00pm
- Chamber Music
- for String, Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion students in grades 6-12 (or by audition; students should play on a NYSSMA level between level 4, 5, and 6).
- meets Monday-Thursday only, from 2:30-4:00pm.
